Old Sturbridge Village re-creates two working farms of the early 19th century, with teams of oxen for farm work, cows for dairying (buttermaking and cheesemaking is demonstrated in season), sheep for wool (May is shearing time and wool is dyed in the summer months), and chickens for eggs.
