The world's oldest commissioned warship, the USS Constitution, passes by the JFK. The ship is still on active duty, manned by US Navy personnel and a detachment of Marines. The Constitution was nicknamed "Old Ironsides" after British cannonballs bounced off her thick oak sides during the War of 1812. |
