Hobbamock's family and his visitors would sleep inside of a neeskwetu like this one. Beds would either be on mats on the ground or on a bed platform, which you see here. Woven mats were placed on the bed platform and skins made warm coverings. Above the interior fires were smoke holes that could be adjusted according to the wind.
